Do you believe that poor children can shine academically?
Would you be energized to have the resources available to see them soar?
Food for Hungry Minds School is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) which is empowering very poor children to succeed in a high-standard, English-medium curriculum. Partnering with corporate sponsors, CENTEX, and Families and Children for Empowerment and Development (FCED), Food for Hungry Minds School challenges and supports promising children from adopted underprivileged communities in Manila & Bulacan. This free, outcomes-based education is provided from Grades 4 to 6.
We are in need of teachers who want to work as part of a team that is continuously learning cutting-edge best practices to enable disadvantaged students to thrive intellectually, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Teachers work closely with other staff, volunteers, families and members of the community to ensure the overall success of each student. This is teaching at its best!

Within the walls of the Philippines’ most popular heritage site of Intramuros lies the country’s seat of technological education excellence. Don Tomas Mapúa, the first registered Filipino architect, founded Mapúa Institute of Technology (MIT) on January 25, 1925, with the vision of it becoming an educational institution that would give the necessary emphasis on the growing importance of science and technology in the improvement of the country’s economy and the quality of life of its citizens. This vision led to MIT’s pioneering of technical course offerings in the country, beginning with the programs Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (CE) and B.S. Architecture (AR).
